The Pierre Hardy boutique opened in 2003 under the arcades of the Palais-Royal. “I think the Palais-Royal is the most beautiful place in Paris,” he says. “It mixes paradoxical qualities: it’s in the centre but a little hidden; it’s very open but at the same time it’s enclosed; it’s inside, it’s outside…”.
