English parfumier James opened his first shop in 2020 under the arcades of the Palais-Royal: “I love being in a garden.
 I’ve travelled a lot and I’ve never seen another old building that was actually designed around a garden and shops in its original conception… There are some inconveniences; it gets really dusty because of the sand for example. But it’s typically Parisian. And it’s the side of Paris that I really like.”
