Youssouf Fofana is still trying to catch up with the success
of his fashion label Maison Château Rouge. Channeling the spirit of Paris’s “Little Africa” neighbourhood in the 18th arrondissement, it met with immediate and unexpected success when Youssouf quietly launched it online
in 2015. Maison Château Rouge is an extension of the non-profit Les Oiseaux Migrateurs (“The Migrating Birds”) he set up with his brother Mamadou as a vehicle for ambitious development projects in Africa.
