After an alternative arts education, Sarah trained to be an actress, funding her studies with a job in a department store, where she fell in love with fashion. In 2012, she drew on her storytelling nous to launch lingerie label Henriette H, which is built around an eponymous fictional heroine: part-muse, part-vamp, part starlet, and an incorrigible romantic. A trip to India in 2014, where she discovered cotton voile, led to her creating her now trademark frilly culottes, which come embroidered with lovers’ names and daring mots d’amour.
