Pierre grew up on the Atlantic coast, between Nantes and La Rochelle, initiated into nature and culture by his grandparents, whose garden teemed with hundreds of rosebushes. Following a late quarter-life crisis, he quit a longstanding job in HR, retrained as a florist, and launched flower shop Debeaulieu in 2013. Louis Vuitton soon came calling, and he’s since become fashion’s most in-demand florist, art-directing displays for the likes of Balenciaga and Kenzo, and juggling the flower shop with a studio focusing on events.
