Raised in Normandy, Margot practised law for two years in NYC, falling in love with the cocktail culture. Returning to France, she became a waitress at Experimental Cocktail Club Paris, moving up to bartender before launching her own joint, Combat, in Belleville, in 2017. Since then, on a quest to make spirits more accessible, she’s penned ‘La Bible des Alcools’ (Hachette), while her simple cocktail tips for corona times have been the toast of Instagram.
