Isaac Reina began his career in his native Barcelona after studies in fashion and architecture. In 1998, he followed a French girlfriend to Paris and, three weeks later, landed a job at Hermès doing menswear. He designs his own label, launched in 2006, from a studio and showroom in the Marais, and his bags and accessories are still handmade in Paris at four ateliers, one of which is company-owned. “Paris is a place where a tradition of leather exists, like Florence,” he says.
