Paris-based Desirée (Austrian) and Berlin-based Ines (German) graduated in fashion in the mid-90s, meeting at a drawing competition. Right from the start – when they borrowed money from their parents to place a cryptic ad for a fur wig in i-D, attracting the attention of Maison Martin Margiela – their label Bless has defied convention. Embracing unisex fashion, utilitarian-but-unusual design objects and much more besides, today they run two boutiques, in Paris and Berlin, that showcase their fiercely eclectic interests.
