French-Martinican model Coralie and romantic partner Daqui, who has roots in Guinea, have been making vegan food cool in Paris since 2013. Both dedicated foodies as well as born entrepreneurs – previous ventures include a minimal clothing line – they started out with a bike-powered vegan hot-dog cart, which soon morphed into the bricks-and-mortar Le Tricycle, known for its creative veggie fast-food. Today their ‘Afro-vegan’ canteen Jah Jah by Le Tricycle (est. 2017) also celebrates their Rastafarian roots and love of reggae.
