Set on reuniting their passions for gastronomy and sustainable agriculture, economics and business grads Alexandre and Samuel set up Terroirs d’Avenir in 2008, crisscrossing France to find the best small producers and distributing their products via refrigerated truck to Paris restaurants. Fast-forward to 2012 and they launched a grocery store, butcher and fishmonger on the Rue du Nil to make their exceptional catalogue available to home kitchens. They continue to expand their empire without sacrificing their dedication to food biodiversity.
